Nasser\u2019s knowledge and skill are visible in his teaching. It will reorder the puzzle pieces of all the various Qi-Gong and training tools you have collected over the years and make them a more complete picture. It is in no way a substitute for doing the actual training. But it really helps to understand better which part goes where and where your own training is at. I would argue that also holds for teachers figuring out where their students are \u2018stuck\u2019. It is actually good and high quality information. And lots of it. Ample opportunity to ask questions. it won\u2019t make you suddenly amazing but it gives you the knowledge on how to train to make another step forward. I would definitely recommend it.<\/p>\n<\/q><\/blockquote>

I found Nasser Sifu to possess a very comprehensive and holistic understanding of the internal arts, of China, that he has garnered over from more than two decades of training and diligent study.
\nHe is a rare master who not only knows the material from a classical literary perspective but can also actualize it functionally and physically through detailed discourse that is at once easy to assimilate yet is subliminally multi layered. He is a prolific writer and his magazine “Lift Hands” is an award winning production whose issues are eagerly awaited and read by a very wide global audience.

I first met the distinguished Mr Nasser Butt a few years ago where we were both teaching on a charity event. Unfortunately, I missed his session as I was preoccupied with other guest instructors. I was informed that I would have enjoyed his session as he is a great scholar and teacher concerning body mechanics. Anyone who knows me or has trained with me across the globe over the last 30 years will know that I love body mechanics especially when combined with the mechanics of different weapons. That evening we all went for a meal where I was lucky enough to be seated across the table from him and we discussed body mechanics then he had to leave for a late and long drive home.<\/p>\n

Whenever I have discussed body mechanics with fellow martial artists I have enjoyed the conversations but when I watched them teach and train they rarely taught what they preached. However, there was something about Nasser that intrigued me as he talked simply and calmly about his views and I wanted to see him teach.<\/p>\n

We both belong to a group called The Gathering where instructors meet four times a year to teach for charity and pay their own expenses and therefore, I knew I would not have to wait long to see Nasser in action and to talk some more.<\/p>\n

Finally, I watched Nasser teach in a calm, confident and enjoyable way. What he taught was effective and informative and the more you knew the more you could appreciate his lesson. I saw similarities in our teaching and in the enjoyment in the teaching of our different arts. I should add here that the people attending our events range from beginners, to special needs and disabled groups to self-defence experts and to some very knowledgeable and very high dan grades. Many of us have over thirty years of teaching, grading and travelling so we are all in good company. I personally see these charity events as putting something back and meeting in friendship and knowledge.<\/p>\n

The more of these events I attended the more I watched Nasser and listened, I watch every part of his body and how he moves and how he explains his actions then helps others train too. When I watch all these experts teach I see great knowledge, no egos and a sense of fun that creates a wonderful atmosphere and then the evenings entertainment is second to none too.<\/p>\n

I noticed a massive difference between my idea of body mechanics to Nasser\u2019s and that is his knowledge of healing and doing good with his art. I use my knowledge of body mechanics or combined mechanics of body and weapons working together purely for combat. Nasser knows this too but he takes it to another level concerning healing and recuperation. He has an exercise for all your body to heal. That makes him a complete martial artist and I can only encourage people to train with him as often as possible.<\/p>\n<\/q><\/blockquote>
